Cotton for the future

Queensland Cotton is deeply rooted in local cotton regions. As a corporation, we represent growers and our industry, striving to support and encourage our people. Our commitment to provide safe and healthy workplaces and support the wellbeing of our individuals creates the foundation for the sustainable practices we uphold. Our partnerships, within the industry and community, help to transform the farming landscape – leading Australian cotton into the next century.

Queensland Cotton is dedicated to supporting our local industry and communities, to sustain Australia’s farming future.

Community Involvement

Local communities are at the heart of the Australian cotton industry. Across each regional location, Queensland Cotton sponsors and supports local industry events, local schools, field days, golf days, sporting teams, and community events. Queensland Cotton is not only committed to giving back to the community and driving local economies but are also committed to providing education and support to our future generations.

Industry

Queensland Cotton is pleased to be a part of industry organisations committed to creating a sustainable farming future. As proud supporters of our industry, Queensland Cotton are active members of the Australian Cotton Shippers Association (ASCA), Cotton Australia, Regional CGA’s, Ginners Association, The International Cotton Association, myBMP and Women in Cotton. Each year our Cotton Ginnery’s are myBMP accredited under the industry standards. With a century of history under our belt, we want to continue to provide exceptional services and support to our industry long into the future.

Olam’s Sustainability

As part of Olam Group, Queensland Cotton shares the goal guided by our sustainability framework – leave the world better than we found it. Entwined in our everyday business, this framework allows us to reduce our environmental footprint, create better livelihoods for our farmers, ensure safe, productive, and equal workplaces and develop our key goals further.
