The lovely members of Gladstone National Senior Citizen Group had a great day out last week in Central Queensland. The group toured the Emerald Cotton Gin and learnt all things cotton. A fantastic opportunity with many thanks to Greg Stanton and Rick Jones from Qld Cotton, Renee Anderson from Cotton Australia and Denis & Aaron Kiely from Central Highlands Cotton Growers and Irrigators Association. The group typically take excursions that are paid guided tours throughout the region. We were pleased to offer our time and the group in return donated a generous $1000 to the Capricorn Helicopter Rescue which will benefit the whole community. We are very proud to be a part of days like these.
